Suburban Dare Kickoff Friday, June 6 - Celebrate the start of summer by signing up for Suburban Dare. Activities and times vary by location: Harrington Library 1-3pm, Davis, Haggard, Parr, and Schimelpfenig libraries 3-5pm

Suburban Dare
 is a city-wide program initiated by the Library that dares you to get to know Plano! Learn about the police and fire departments, parks and recreation, the animal shelter, Plano Centre, 9-1-1, volunteering, city government, and more!

Summer Reading is part of Suburban Dare! Set a summer reading goal as a dare and start reading! Other library dares include downloading something digital, checking out a science kit, attending a program, and much more! Checkout the fabulous summer programs in our events brochure Link

Sign Up Starting June 1 for every dare completed, you will be entered into our great prize drawing at the end of the summer!

Every Dare Completed earns an entry to win a gift card. Plano library card required to be eligible to win prizes.

Kids and Teens who complete their reading goal will also be eligible for a free book (pick-up starting July 28).
