Compatibility View Settings

PeopleSoft and Internet Explorer 10

Users have reported issues when trying to use IE10 with PeopleSoft applications: some buttons may not work or pages will show the "working" icon as spinning. To resolve the issues, IE must be in compatibility mode and not in native mode. Follow these steps to change your settings:

1. Launch IE

2. Navigate to our Job Listing Page.

3. From the address bar, select the broken page icon. Your page will now be in compatibility mode so you may apply for positions.

Note: You may have to repeat these steps for multiple pages within the application or if you clear your browser's cache.

 If you are missing compatibility icon follow these steps to change your settings:

1. Launch Internet Explorer

2. On the menu bar, select Tools -> Compatibility View Settings

3. In box Add this website: type plano.gov and select the Add button

4. Click close and begin the application process
Note: You may have to repeat these steps for multiple pages within the application or if you clear your browser's cache.
