The City of Plano Risk Management staff operates to protect and serve the city's employees, citizens, and visitors to our City of Excellence. The Division’s primary goal is to ensure that everyone can work and play in a safe and secure environment, and to reduce the cost of risks the city faces every day.
Risk Management serves as a resource to all city departments by providing training, education, safety seminars, etc. Through these and other effective risk management processes, we are making sure that the City of Plano is a great place to live, work, and visit.
To protect against accidental loss or losses which in the aggregate during any financial period, would significantly affect personnel, property, the budget or the ability of the City of Plano to continue to fulfill its responsibilities to the taxpayers and the public.
