Council Member Anthony Ricciardelli

Anthony grew up in Plano and is a proud graduate of Plano Senior High School. Now, Anthony and his wife, Liesl, have the privilege of raising their son, Ethan, here in Plano.

After graduating from Plano Senior as a National Merit Scholar and earning an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, Anthony attended the University of Texas School of Law on a full merit scholarship as a Townes-Rice Scholar. Upon graduating from UT Law, he passed the bar and began practicing law. Anthony has practiced law at the highest levels – including in the Texas Supreme Court and the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals – and has been quoted on TV, on the radio, and in newspapers regarding his high-profile cases. Anthony’s professional achievements as an attorney have earned him recognition as a “Rising Star” in the Texas legal community two years in a row.

Anthony has had a longstanding commitment to community involvement. He previously served as Vice Chair of the Plano Heritage Commission and serves on several nonprofit boards and committees, including the regional board of advisors for Joni and Friends (a ministry to those affected by disability and their families that has its regional headquarters at the Hope Center here in Plano), the Dallas benefit host committee for International Justice Mission, the portfolio advisory board for Texas Women Ventures, and professional committees through the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers. Anthony, Liesl, and their young son Ethan are active members of The Ridge Church.
