MILITARY SERVICE
Pat has over 35 years of broadcast experience in both the civilian market and U.S. military.  He’s a retired USAF veteran having served 20 years in various roles in Air Force public affairs and radio and television broadcast management. Pat served as an Air Force liaison to the Department of Defense, helping oversee the budget, manpower, design, building and operation of over 30 radio & television stations around the globe.  He also provided guidance on standards for deployment of manpower and broadcasting assets to war zones, and also worked with foreign governments on frequency allocations and communications. A former DoD Newscaster of the Year, Pat’s military decorations include the Department of Defense Meritorious Service Medal and the Air Force Commendation Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters.

EMPLOYMENT
Pat has been with the Social Security Administration since 2002. He previously worked for the Dallas Independent School District following his retirement from the Air Force.  Now working for the Social Security Administration as a video producer, he helps train new hires for the agency as they begin their careers serving the American public.

PERSONAL
Pat is married to the former Angela Koutsaplis of Athens, Greece, and they have been residents of Plano since 1996.  They have two daughters, Stephanie and Nicole.
