Mabrie Griffith Jackson moved to Plano with her family in 1970.  She is married to Marshall Jackson, whom she met in the second grade at Shepard Elementary.  They are the proud parents of two sons, James and Mitchell.  Mabrie and Marshall both come from families dedicated to public and volunteer service and are active in many community organizations.
