Nickel Neutering - Cat at the Vet

Get your cat neutered for just 5 cents during Nickel Neutering!

Make an appointment with us to get your cat neutered for just a nickel on Tuesday, February 26, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Here’s a few things to know about Nickel Neutering:

  • Make an appointment by calling (972) 769-4360
  • Bring your cat in a pet carrier with your name
  • Written proof of his current rabies and FVRCP vaccinations must be provided or, if needed, can be administered for $9.95 for one shot or $19.95 for both.
  • You can also get him microchipped for $10
  • You do not have to live in Plano to participate.
  • Cats belonging to Plano residents are required to have their city registration up to date. City registration for each cat is only $10 or $5 if the owner is a senior citizen or has proof of being low-income. Visit plano.gov/RegisterPet for information on registration.
  • Cats must be at least 8 weeks old and 2 and 1/2 pounds
