Donate Items for Reuse and Recycling During Texas Recycles Day on November 11

Help give new life to old items through reuse and recycling during the annual Texas Recycles Day. This year’s event is held Saturday, November 11 from 9 a.m. until Noon at the parking lot of Chase Oaks Church, 281 Legacy Drive, Plano.

Residents drive through and drop off items which are clean and in good condition. Donated items are given to various non-profit organizations for reuse or recycling. Items accepted at the drop off include: pet supplies, bicycles, books, knitting supplies,...

Plano's Anti-Idling Ordinance in Effect Beginning Sept. 1

The Plano Police Department is partnering with the City of Plano’s Environmental Health and Sustainability Department to participate in regional programs aimed at reducing harmful emissions.
