A civil disruption is any incident that disrupts a community where intervention is required to maintain public safety.  Examples are demonstrations, riots, strikes, public nuisances, and criminal activities.

The most important action you can take if you are caught in a civil disruption is to immediately report the event to the police and obey any police requests.  Seek shelter in a safe place and wait for the disruption to pass.
