 Our goal is to allow our students the opportunity to achieve fulfillment through learning the sport of gymnastics in a safe and fun atmosphere, and to gain the understanding that success is not measured in victories, but in the joy of participation and a job well done.
The Plano Aerobats Gymnastics Program is a year-round program for girls, age 3-16, beginners through Level 8, and boys, ages 4-8, beginners and advanced beginners. Classes are held at both the Carpenter Park Recreation Center and Oak Point Center.

Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF) State Meet The Plano Aerobats competed in the Level 4 state meet April 25 and 26. Competing against 31 other teams from across the state, Plano's team of 10 girls finished in second place, missing first place honors by 0.05.
With 211 girls competing in the meet, Aerobats Roxanna Shababi had the second highest all-around score (38.75), Kelsea Dinh the third highest score (38.65) and Temnit Messay had the eighth highest all-around score (38.4). Other Aerobats contributing to the second place finish were Jenna Sigle, Emily Jacobs, Kirtana Murali, Natalie Price, Erin Clay, Alison Clay and Leah Turano.
Texas Gymnastics Championships On May 2 and 3 the Plano Aerobats competed in the Level 5 and 6 competition. Nineteen Texas teams competed in Level 5 and the Aerobats finished in third place. Contributing to their win was Samantha Shulhan, Rebecca Taylor, Kate Blasingame, Arianna Patterson, Emily Cross, Anna Turner, Kari Lance and Brianna Tores.
The undefeated Level 6 team held on to that distinction, beating out 14 other teams to win first place. Aerobat Cassie Bub was the high score of the meet earning first all-around with a score of 37.50. Teammate Emily Scott finished with the bronze medal in the all-around with 36.75.Other teammates contributing their Texas Championship title were Stephanie Su, Emilye Webb, Daria McCutcheon and Rachel Imwalle.
KINDERGYM Girls ages 3-5. Classes are held Monday through Friday. You may enroll for one hour per week. Students learn basic gymnastic skills on vault, bars, beam, floor and trampoline.
BOYS PROGRAM Boys ages 4-8. Beginning through Intermediate level skills on high bar, parallel bars, rings, floor, vault, pommel horse and trampoline. You may enroll for one or two hours per week.
BLUE / WHITE TEAM Girls ages 5-12. Beginning through Intermediate level skills on vault, bars, beam, floor and trampoline. You may enroll for one or two hours per week.

RED TEAM Girls ages 6-16. Advanced level skills on vault, bars, beam and floor, and use the trampoline. Workouts are three hours per week. MINI STARS Girls ages 6-8. These students show an above average potential in gymnastics and are trained at a slightly more intense level on vault, bars, beam, floor and trampoline. Workouts are four hours per week.
GOLD TEAM Girls ages 6-16 Competitive Team. These students compete in Levels 4 through 8 in TAAF and USAG gymnastics competitions throughout North Texas. They work out between 7 and 13 hours per week depending upon level.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES Birthday parties for ages 5-12 are available in the gymnastics room at Oak Point Recreation Center on Saturdays at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Boys and girls are welcome and will have two coaches supervising the fun! SUMMER CAMP Boys ages 4-8 and Girls ages 4-10. Week long camps are offered throughout the summer months from 9am-Noon at Oak Point Center. Activities include instruction on all gymnastics events, arts and crafts, games, and snacks. $75 per week. See Leisure OnLine for course information.
