The Plano Parks and Recreation Department allocates, prepares, and maintains competitive game fields used by youth sports organizations and coordinates their schedules to insure they are used to maximum efficiency. Specific questions regarding sports sponsored by these organizations can be answered by calling each organization.

General public access to athletic game fields is permitted on a casual basis, however, the organized recurring use of athletic fields is allowed only during established sports seasons through scheduled use coordinated by the Sports Operations office of the City's Parks and Recreation Department.

The Parks and Recreation Department operates a field reservation system during each sports season enabling the general public to schedule use of available athletic fields on a non-recurring basis for practices when scheduling allows. Call 972-941-5243 for more information on reserving field space for practice.

Youth Summer Sports Clinics The Parks and Recreation Adult Athletics Programs Office provides summer clinics for students entering kindergarten through ninth grades each year. You'll find instruction in athletic fitness, baseball, basketball, football, soccer, and volleyball for boys and girls. Check the summer issue of the Leisure catalog, or Leisure OnLine, for a complete listing and fees.

Frito-Lay / Pepsi Youth Ballpark The Frito-Lay Pepsi Youth Ballpark is open and available for use. It is located on the southeast corner of Jupiter Road and Spring Creek Parkway. This $1 million ballfield was built to youth baseball specifications so that kids can experience the look and feel of a Major League ballpark for special games. Call 972-941-5243 for reservations.
