Special Events
Animal Services personnel are available to staff booths, display materials and have animals for adoption at community events such as block parties, health fairs, children’s events and more!

Speaking Engagements
Animal Services personnel are available to speak to community groups of any size. Topics
include City of Plano Animal Ordinances and Services, Adoption Program including off-site locations, Wildlife in Plano, A Career as an Animal Services Officer, Education including Pet
First Aid, just to name a few. We would appreciate at least one week’s notice prior to the date of any presentation.

Adoption Center Tours
Tours of our state of the art Adoption Center can be scheduled for any size group. For children’s groups, a 20 minute video on animal safety and a group discussion afterward can be included. Our guided tours will show how our animal shelter provides not only a home for lost and unwanted animals but offers a wide variety of services for the citizens of Plano.
Due to the high volume of visitors on the weekends, shelter tours are not available on Saturday or Sunday.
