Making A Payment


Making a payment is getting easier and easier. Of course, you’ve always been able to mail us a check. You can also bring in a check or cash to the Main Office located at Municipal Center, or to Building A, adjacent to the Maribelle Davis Library (7501 Independence Parkway). In addition to the above, you also have the following payment options. NOTE: Please do not use the remote drop boxes for delinquent payments.

IVR: Interactive Voice Response

The Interactive Voice Response telephone system – available 24 hours a day in both English and Spanish. The system is secured by Verisign® encryption. The services provided include:

  • payment by Master Card, Visa, Discover or American Express
  • payment history up to 60 days
  • billing history up to 3 months
  • fax information from the above options

You may access the IVR system by dialing 972-941-5040.

Internet
Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, you can access your account information and make payments online. You can also request services such as
closing an existing account , transferring services within Plano and starting new service .

Night Drop
Used for after hours payments (checks preferred), and is located beside the drive-in window at the Main Office - 1520 K Ave, on the east side of the municipal building.

Payment Drive By Box
The payment drive by box is located in front of Building A, adjacent to the Maribelle Davis Library at 7501 N. Independence Parkway.

Automatic Bank Draft
You can download an application online to apply for automatic bank draft or you can contact our office at:

Credit Card
(Master Card, Visa, Discover, or American Express) By using our online system to pay your account by credit card you can choose to:

  • Pay immediately
  • Authorize a future one-time credit card payment, or
  • Authorize a recurring credit card payment

Late Charges
Payment for the charges on your water bill is due in our office at least 25 days after the billing date. The due date is identified ("Pay This Amount By") on your bill in the Account Activity section. A 10% late charge will be assessed after the due date, on current unpaid charges.
