If
you're traveling by car, our well-planned highway systems make getting
to and traveling around Plano easy. Plano can be accessed either
from the north or south by three major thoroughfares - the Dallas North
Tollway (toll charge is 75 cents to get you through the one gate
located in Plano), State Highway 75 (Central Expressway) and Preston
Road. We are bordered for east and west travel by State Highway
121 and State Highway 190 (George Bush Turnpike). There is also
easy access from Dallas along Interstate 635, located just south of
Plano's borders.
Local bus service is provided by the Dallas Area Rapid Transit System
(DART) or taxis are readily available for those requiring more
individual services. The Plano Convention and Visitors Bureau
