City of Plano

Activation of CERT will be made by the City of Plano Department of Emergency Management only. In the event of an activation CERT Memebers will be contacted and given further instructions.

Training and Events

1. March 2011 CERT Basic Training Course

When: Every Thursday evening (7:00pm - 10:00pm) from March 31st to May 26th, 2011. The CERT exercise and course conclusioin will take place on Saturday, May 28th.

Where: City of Plano William E. Peterson Emergency Operations Center (EOC), 4125 West Parker Road, Plano

2. KnoWhat2Do PrepareFair

When: April 9th, 2011 1:00pm - 5:00pm

Where: Haggard Park, 901 E. 15th Street, Plano

CERT volunteers are needed from 10:00am to 6:00pm to assist with event activities. Follow the link below for more details.

3. EOC Volunteers

CERT volunteers are needed to assist with various duties and projects at the City of Plano William E. Peterson EOC. Please follow the link below for descriptions and scheduled opportunities.
