| The Development Engineering and Community Investment Program (CIP) Divisions are involved with many aspects of the City’s infrastructure. These divisions monitor all the infrastructure needs of the Plano. For example, the CIP division concerns itself with providing adequate public water and wastewater facilities for the future, while the Development Engineering Division reviews all engineering plans for proposed private developments.
