Cutting the Grass, Cutting Carbon Emissions - Lawn Mower Exchange

A single gas-powered lawn mower emits as much hourly pollution as 11 cars, according to the EPA.  An electric or manual lawn mower cuts grass while cutting down on carbon emissions, too.  The Live Green Lawn Mower Exchange Program offers a post-purchase rebate check of up to $150 for replacing your gas-powered mower with one which promotes air quality.  To qualify you must be a resident of Plano, Frisco, Allen, McKinney or Richardson.  Additionally, the gas mower must be in working condition.  Funds are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.  To reserve an exchange voucher, please Click here for information.
