
The City of Plano Sustainability & Environmental Services Department operates a Household Chemical Reuse Center where Plano residents may obtain reusable household products, collected through the residential chemical collection program and approved for reuse, for free.
The Reuse Center is a facility for redistributing items collected through residential chemical collections only. Chemicals are not accepted at the Reuse Center. For more information, please contact Environmental Waste Services Customer Service at (972) 769-4150 or click here to download flyer.
Items available for reuse include:
- Paint (latex and oil-based)
- Garden products (herbicides and pesticides)
- Pool chemicals
- Household cleansers
- Repair products
- Pet products
The Reuse Center is located at 4110 W. Plano Parkway. Hours of operation are as follows:
- March through April:
Mondays 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
- May through November:
Mondays 5 p.m. - 7 p.m., Wednesdays 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
- December through February:
Mondays 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. and the third Saturday of the month 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
