Presentations
Hazards in Your Home: Become aware of the chemical hazards in your home. Learn how these products should be used, stored and discarded, and what you can do to prevent pollution and potential health problems. This interactive lesson provides hands-on involvement for participants. (Grades K through Adult)
Enviroscape: This interactive lesson makes use of a model town that shows students how our daily habits impact the environment and disturb the natural balance and recycling process of water. Groups of 25 maximum; multiple lessons may be booked back-to-back. (Grades Pre-K through 8)
Pest or Pal Court: This lesson begins with listening to the book “What About Ladybugs?” which shows how misuse of a pesticide disrupts the balance of a garden. Students learn what conditions determine whether an animal, plant or insect is a pest or pal. They form “jury” groups to decide the guilt or innocence of 12 cases that are brought before their “court” and then decide the safest action needed to address the situation. The principles of Integrated Pest Management (IPM), preventative and safe steps to controlling pests are the objectives of this lesson. Students receive a paper replica of the IPM Pyramid to construct. (Grades 3 through 8)

Puppet Shows
Hazards at Home: Watch as Tillie and Tommy become aware of the chemicals that are part of their daily lives. (Grades K through 3)
Skit
Captain Crud Up a Creek: Captain Crud tracks the Cruddies to a neighborhood creek. Students can present this skit to their grade level or school. Props, scripts and Capt. Crud and Cruddie cut-outs and one rehearsal coaching are provided. (Grades 3 through 5)
