Welcome to Plano Material Exchange, a free on-line listing service for Plano residents who have items they no longer need but could be used by others. The program matches residents who have good household items to dispose of with local individuals or nonprofit organizations who can use them. Items are not for sale—they are listed for exchange only. Plano Material Exchange is part of an effort to reduce the amount of reusable items headed to the landfill and expand the City’s recycling program with a reuse program.

PLANO MATERIAL EXCHANGE
Plano Material Exchange is an Internet-based reuse and recycle program that connects Plano residents who have unwanted but usable household goods to other citizens or non-profit groups who may need them free of charge.
By exchanging the items, individuals are practicing "recycling through reusing." It's quick, it's easy, and it's fun!

To list free items, you must be a resident of the City of Plano, and you must have a City of Plano Utility Billing account number, found on your monthly water bill.
