The Honor Guard is a team of seven professional firefighters created this year after department members attended the funerals of three Tarrant County firefighters. The team’s paramount mission is to pay tribute to those firefighters who have lost their lives in the line-of-duty, and to those who have passed on following distinguished careers in the emergency service. The Honor Guard also proudly represents the fire department in both funeral and memorial services for other public safety officers.
