Every child should feel safe and secure in a vehicle. In a 20 m.p.h. collision, a 20-pound baby weighs 400 pounds. Even the most loving arms can't hold on. In 1994, 250 children age 14 and under died and 33,087 were injured in automobile crashes in Texas. Many of Texas' children are riding unrestrained. YOU can help us to make these children feel safe and secure. If you see unrestrained children, complete this safety report card within 3 days of the observation and submit it to Buckle Up...for Life.
