Severe Weather

Although severe weather can strike anywhere at anytime in Texas, the spring season brings an even greater potential for violent weather.  This includes thunderstorms, lightning, floods, heavy winds, hail and tornadoes.

Now is the time to prepare for these potentially dangerous conditions.  One way you can prepare for an emergency before it happens is by assembling an emergency supply kit.  Once a disaster strikes, you will not have time to shop for supplies.  Planning carefully and gathering needed items in advance can help you prepare for an evacuation or home confinement.
