Each program is "library-based," meaning they are formatted from books, poetry, short stories and magazine articles. "It gives participants a chance to share their memories. They love to reminisce about the past."

Mission: To bring library programs to Senior Care Homes
Programs are presented once a month for 30 - 60 minutes at each care home. Volunteers make up their own programs and often share among themselves.
Library Links with Seniors is a program of the Plano Public Library System. |
