15th Street at Pitman Drive

This four-acre museum preserves a way of life during the height of farm prosperity in the early 1900's. The beautiful Victorian home and 12 outbuildings were the hub of a 360 acre farm operated by a colorful local resident, Ammie Wilson. The museum is open to the public and guided tours are available. Call (972) 424-7874 for information.

B. Skaggs General Store

US 75 north of Parker Road

This building was originally built as a gas station/general store during the 1930s and was located on Avenue K. In 1989, the Haggard family acquired the building and moved it to Fairview Farms Marketplace. The building was fully restored and reopened in January, 1990, as an antique shop and general store.
