Meeting Reminder

The Neighborhood Planning Team will meet on Monday March 31 to discuss the objectives identified in the Liberty Park Summary Plan.  We will meet at the Liberty Recreation Center on Monday, March 31, 2008 at 7pm.  Hope to see you there!

 Liberty Park Neighborhood Background

The area designated as the Liberty Park Neighborhood is made up of the following subdivisions:

  • Dallas North Estates 12-1
  • Dallas North Estates 12-2
  • Dallas North Estates 12-3
  • Dallas North Estates 12-4
  • Dallas North Estates 10
  • Dallas North Estates 9
  • Williamsburg Square 1
  • Williamsburg Square 2
  • Cloisters 3 
  • Ranger Addition 1  

The listed subdivisions consist of approx. 907 units (houses).

Neighborhood Boundaries

The designated Liberty Park Neighborhod surrounds Liberty Park as well as a recreation center (Liberty Recreation Center), 3 schools (Vines High School, Wilson Middle School, Shepard Elementary), and a church (Dallas Chinese Fellowship Church).


The designated Liberty Park neighborhood boundaries are:

  • North: 15th Street
  • South: Plano Parkway
  • East: Independence Parkway
  • West: Custer Road

The Neighborhood Planning Program strives to facilitate education and communication between city departments and the citizens. We want citizens, who do not know what services    are available, to ascertain that information in the best possible way.  Ultimately, this process is designed to enhance resident’s overall quality of life.
