Plano Community Garden
The Junior League of Plano and the City of Plano are working to create a community garden, with the primary purpose of donating produce to a local food pantry. JLP designs the garden, coordinates the PR, supervises garden maintenance, communicates with the food pantry and runs the “Adopt A Plot” program.

Home Rehabilitation & Lead Abatement Neighborhood Services Division, City of Plano The mission of Neighborhood Services is to preserve Plano's neighborhoods. To accomplish this, we work with residents and Homeowners' Associations in preparing neighborhood plans to address their concerns. We provide low-cost rehabilitation loans to homeowners to help maintain their homes, and we provide financial assistance to help families who are purchasing their first home. In addition, the Division provides staff support for the Community Relations Commission, and is responsible for the Community Development Block Grant and Community Services Grants.
