Explorer Post 911

Plano PD Explorer Post 911

The Plano Police Department is currently recruiting young men and women to join their Law Enforcement Explorer Program.

Law Enforcement Exploring is a part of the Boy Scouts of America “Learning for Life” Program. It is designed to acquaint young people with the nature and complexity of law enforcement.

If you have a young adult in your family that is interested in exploring a career in law enforcement, this is an excellent opportunity to do so. Please call the Crime Prevention Unit at 972-941-2431 for more information.

The goals and objectives of the Plano Law Enforcement Explorer program are to:

  • Enhance the Explorer’s preparation for future roles as citizens, community members, leaders and potential future law enforcement officers.
