Lobby hours are Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The City of Plano Police Department is proud to have been accredited by
The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA) since 1992. In November 2009, the Department was awarded special distinction as a CALEA Flagship Agency which designated Plano as an extraordinary example of excellence in Law Enforcement. A Meritorious Service award, given to agencies with 15 or more continuous years as an accredited agency, was also presented to the Plano Police Department at that time. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that will lead to the arrest and indictment of a suspect that has a Felony warrant or for information concerning a Felony case. To contact Crime Stoppers with anonymous information:

To alert drivers to the dangers of "driver inattention," the Plano Police Department has initiated a campaign called "Pay Attention for Prevention." This campaign includes a series of on-line videos, featuring tips and information to help keep drivers safe.
