Fingerprinting



Adults:
Fingerprinting services are provided to the public Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Police Headquarters (909 14th Street) and from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Joint Use Facility (7501 Independence Pkwy.) for professional licenses, concealed handgun permits, and various legal reasons.

The fee for fingerprinting service is $10.00 for the first two cards and $5.00 for each additional card.

You must provide your own cards.  

The Police Department does not do fingerprints for immigration.

The person to be fingerprinted must provide a picture ID and a receipt obtained from Records proving that they have paid for the service.

Any cards that were rejected due to the quality of the prints will be reprinted free of charge.  All other reason(s) for rejection will be subject to the $10.00 fee.

Children:
The Crime Prevention Unit will provide free fingerprinting services to children ages 5 to 12 using the Print-A-Kid fingerprint card. We do not provide child photographs or ID cards for citizens.

The Crime Prevention Unit also has fingerprint boards to rent for $5.00 a board. With each board comes 50 Print-A-Kid Cards.
