Skilled Engineer with a BSCE / PE or EIT degree needed to correlate the existing Transportation Planning model to current year and year 2030
Volunteer needed to: Analyze status/quality of current model, develop data needs, input data, run model, refine model output to within 10% of current ground counts, run model for year 2030 traffic assignment, print reports/map.
Skills: Computer transportation planning modeling, independent judgment, self-initiation
Knowledge: TransCAD software operation. Transportation network modeling techniques, Traffic Operations, Level of Service techniques
Time Frame: Volunteer needed for 4 -8 hours a week, hours are flexible be will need to occur during work hours Mon. and Fri. 8 am – 5 pm
