Responsibilities:
- Review and make recommendations regarding policies and programs that will be of benefit to seniors, within the traditional scope of City Council powers and responsibilities.
- Advise City Council on issues of importance to seniors living in Plano.
- Participate on behalf of the City on boards or commissions relating to the interests of seniors and to sponsor or co-sponsor appropriate forums and programs on senior issues and services.
- Raise the public awareness of seniors' needs and issues.
