Abundant Wildflowers
Plano abounds in wildflowers from spring through summer. Plantings throughout the community allow for beauty and provide a reduction in maintenance requirements for those specific areas. While many of the most popular blooms are available in spring such as the Bluebonnet, watch for many of our others throughout the year.

Take Photos, Leave the Flowers
We appreciate the interest in our wildflowers and ask that everyone please respect the beauty they contribtue by only taking photos and leaving the plants for others to enjoy as well. We also ask that you try to minimize your footprints in the fields so that others may enjoy their full blooming beauty.
Environmental stewardship means responsibly using and managing land and resources so they can be used and enjoyed now and in the future. In order for our wildflower and natural areas to remain healthy and beautiful it is important that all users act as stewards of those resources. It is imperative that plants, animals and other features of these areas be left undisturbed and none be removed for any purpose by visitors. Your proactive stewardship of these natural beauties will be beneficial in preserving them, especially when you properly dispose of litter and pet waste in trash cans and encourage only the taking of pictures leaving the plants and flowers in place.
