Lobby Art - Landscape of Light
The art piece, "Landscape of Light," by Ray King is a three-dimensional landscape consisting of thousands of laminated dichroic glass squares suspended on stainless steel cables. The work was inspired by the beauty and natural contours of the Texas countryside. The artist's desire was to create "a scultpure which evokes a sense of fasciniation, stimulation, beauty, contemplation, and intrigue." This art work was commissioned for citizens through the Plano Public Art Program and administered by the Public Art Committee.
