The Parks and Recreation Department operates a variety of pools, some open year-round, and others operating during summer months only. Weather and capacity conditions may play a part in determining pool hours and openings. Please call ahead for specific information. All pools are available for rent. Please call 972-941-7256 for information. All pools will be open for summer hours the weekend of May 24 & 25 (Memorial Day weekend) and May 31 & June 1. See specific pool hours below. Monday, May 26 (Memorial Day) all pools will be open 1pm-6pm Monday, September 1 (Labor Day) is the last day for outdoor pool operation. All pools will be open 1pm-6pm. Jack Carter Pool 2800 Maumelle 972-208-8081 Outdoor 50-meter pool with a waterslide, one-meter diving board and an adjacent playground outside the gate. The wading pool features a zero-depth entry, water playground and waterslide for guests under 7 years.
