The City of Plano, in cooperation with the Plano Independent School District, operates a recreation program in Williams High School.
This facility provides two full-size gymnasiums, a variety of table games, and classroom space for recreation class programs.
You must live in Plano or the PISD to use the Williams Recreation Center. A valid drivers license is required and ID cards are available for youth.
Guests must be accompanied by a resident, live beyond a 50-mile radius of Plano, and must show proof of their residency.
Classes A variety of evening classes are available for all age groups and all areas of interest. For a complete listing of classes, please see the current Leisure catalog or visit Leisure OnLine. Pre-registration is necessary for all courses but recreation center membership is not required.
Gym The gym is available for drop-in basketball. Organized practices and private coaching are not allowed. Basketball court shoes must be worn. Dunking or grabbing on basketball rims will result in suspension from the facility. Full-court games are not allowed during peak hours in order to make room for more players. Junior or standard sized basketballs may be checked out.
