Plano Evacuee Processing Center Changes Location
The City of Plano is moving the Processing Center for Katrina evacuees to
Plano Fire Administration, 1901 Avenue K. The Processing Center will be open
daily from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. until further notice.
All evacuees must register at the City Processing Center to receive support
services. American Red Cross and FEMA forms are being distributed at this
location as well.
Donations are not being accepted at this location. A donation site has been
set up at First Baptist Church of Plano, 1300 E. 15th Street.
An information hotline has been set up: (972) 941-7777. There will be no
persons manning this line; rather, it is an automated messaging service.
