K-9 Kerplunk! Delayed by Hurricane Rita
K-9 Kerplunk!, the City of Plano Parks & Recreation Department’s annual dog
swim has been postponed to Saturday, October 1, from Saturday, September 24,
due to weather concerns.
The event, held at Oak Point Center Pool, 6000 Jupiter Road at Spring Creek
Parkway, is for dogs and their owners. The pool will be open to dogs from 9
am – 2 pm. Admission is $2 per dog. Pet owner’s must present proof of
current registration. A rabies tag is required for admittance.
The event is a popular day for local dogs. This is the only day of the year
when dogs are able to swim in the Oak Point Pool. K-9 Kerplunk is an annual
event that take place prior to the pool closing for the season.
