For Immediate Release: October 6, 2005 Contact: Peggy Harrell Fire Department Phone: (972) 941-7421 Collin County Heart Healthy Association to Hold CPR Blowout When Jill Delott found her two-year-old son face down in the family’s hot tub, she experienced a mother’s worst nightmare. Fortunately she knew CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and put the lifesaving skills to work to save her son. Jill had learned CPR at the 2002 CPR Blowout and is thankful she attended the training. The Collin County Heart Healthy Association will host the 2005 CPR Blowout on Sunday, October 16 at the Collin County Community College’s Spring Creek Campus. American Heart Association certification CPR classes will be held in the morning and afternoon for a cost of $25. Non certification classes will be held throughout the day for a cost of $5.
