Coming soon…Plano’s 27th Annual Christmas Crafts Fair!
If you need help locating your holiday spirit, visit the City of Plano
Parks and Recreation Department’s 27th annual Christmas Crafts Fair! The
Fair will be held Saturday and Sunday, November 19 and 20 at the Plano
Centre, 2000 East Spring Creek Parkway at the corner of Jupiter Road.
The event is open Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, and Sunday from noon to 5
pm. Admission is free.
The Christmas Crafts Fair caters to shoppers who want to adorn their
homes with unique and original decorations for the holidays. Customers
will appreciate seeing a variety of decorations made of fabric, wood,
ceramic, and glass; along with a great assortment of Santas, angels,
tree skirts, ornaments, yard art and wreaths. Other exhibitors will have
jewelry and clothing, together with an array of candles and soaps. There
will also be a wonderful selection of salsas, jams, soups and dips
perfect for gifts or holiday parties.
Returning to the Christmas Crafts Fair for its fourth year, the Hip Hip
for Gray booth provides Collin County seniors a venue to sell a variety
of wares including hand-crafted quilts, hand-painted treasures, tree
skirts, ornaments, and floral arrangements.
Names of crafters who create handmade holiday items are always being
added to our mailing list. Crafters interested in participating in the
2006 show, may call the office in order to be included in the next
mailing. For more information on this or any other Parks and Recreation
event, please contact the Plano Parks and Recreation Administrative
Office at 972-941-7250.
