KELLY WRIGHT NAMED BOOKING AND EVENTS COORDINATOR FOR THE PLANO CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU
The Plano Convention & Visitors Bureau announced the addition of Kelly Wright as the new Booking and Events Coordinator. Founded in 1988 to service the largest community in Collin County, the Plano CVB is the official destination marketing organization for the City of Plano.
Wright will be responsible for facilitating services for corporate, government, educational and sports market organizations and assisting those clients with local arrangements necessary to produce exciting and successful events in Plano.
A native of Fort Collins, Colorado, Wright joins the Plano CVB after serving as the Will Hancock Communications Intern for the Big 12 Conference. She handled a variety of duties while at the Big 12, including serving as the primary media contact for cross country, swimming & diving, track & field, golf and wrestling.
Wright earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism & Mass Communications from the University of Oklahoma in 2004.
