Children’s Puppet Shows offered at Plano Libraries

As part of September’s Library Card Sign-Up Month, parents and their children are invited to free puppet shows featuring “Gunniwolf,” “Goldilocks and the Three Bears,” “Three Little Pigs”, “What Every Cowpoke Needs” and “Three Billy Goats Gruff” at the Plano libraries.

“Trail Boss Betty” and “Readin’ Randy” are the stars of Plano Public Library System’s puppet show entitled “What Every Cowpoke Needs.”  This original puppet show promotes Library Card Sign-Up Month held every September.

“Gunniwolf” is the story of an independent young girl who lives next to the big scary jungle.  Her mother has cautioned her never to enter the jungle because the Gunniwolf might get her.  The clever girl outwits Gunniwolf and learns a valuable lesson in life.

These free puppet shows will be presented at each of the five Plano public libraries at various times.  Check with your local library for dates and times or visit www.planolibrary.org.
