Plano’s District 2 Citizens Bring New Ideas to Roundtable Discussion

Plano City Councilmembers are encouraging citizens from District 2 to join them for a lively Neighborhood Roundtable discussion on Thursday, November 9 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Plano Sports Authority, 6500 Preston Meadow.

The meeting is part of an ongoing outreach program called Plano City Council Neighborhood Roundtable. Councilmembers and City department representatives will answer questions and work with the citizens to find solutions to district concerns.  Though the meeting is focused on District 2, all Plano citizens are welcome to participate.  Light refreshments will be served.

Citizens in the District 2 area will receive a special postcard invitation.  District 2’s north boundary is the City Limit (S.H. 121); the south boundary is the City Limit (President George Bush Turnpike); the east boundary is Coit Road (from the north City Limit to Parker Road) and Ohio Drive (from Parker Road to the southern City Limit); and the west boundary is the City Limit (Midway/Marsh area).

A map with all the districts is available online at www.plano.gov under Departments and Community Outreach.  For more information call (972) 941-7747.

Neighborhood Roundtables are held quarterly and rotated through Plano’s four districts to provide an opportunity for citizens and Councilmembers in the convenience of their home neighborhood.
