Plano Court Computer System Restored Saturday
On Saturday the Plano Municipal Court computer system was restored to normal operation after experiencing water damage on Tuesday, Dec. 5.
Due to the computer outage, Defendant's whose appearance date fell between Dec.5 and Dec. 10 will have ten (10 ) days (until Dec. 21, 2006) to make an appearance without additional penalties. Defendants with appearance dates from today forward will be expected to make their appearance according to their citations.
Citizens issued a citation Dec. 5 thru Dec. 10 will have until Dec. 21, unless their fifteen (15) calendar day appearance date is later than Dec. 21.
The Municipal Court’s online citation payment method is operational again. Web payments posted during the outage were successfully transacted.
The Municipal Court office will be closed for the holiday beginning Friday, Dec. 22, reopening Tuesday, Dec. 26.
