The Plano City council wants to hear your ideas and concerns about your
community and answer any questions you may have about City services and
programs.
Thursday, February 10, the Plano City Council will host their popular “Neighborhood
Roundtable” at the Plano Centre, 2000 E. Spring Creek Parkway, Windhaven
Room, from 7:00 p.m until 9:00 p.m.
Dividing the city into Districts enables the Council to meet with residents
throughout the entire city, focusing on concerns and solutions that are
geographic to that specific location, as well as any city-wide issues residents
may have.
One-on-one dialogue is afforded through a Roundtable session, with the
Mayor and City Council attending the meetings, supplemented by City Staff
representing each municipal service. After group discussion, sub-groups
are formed to prioritize and identify issues most concerning the group.
A special presentation is planned at this meeting on the proposed 2005
Bond Referendum.
District 1 encompasses the area within the City Limits to the North, East
and South, and Alma Drive to the West.
Residents are notified through a direct mail post card of the meeting date
and time. Persons with questions should call 972-941-7747.
