October 21 International Festival A Feast For Mind and Soul

A dazzling display of Plano’s cultural diversity will greet visitors to historic Haggard Park, 15th & Avenue H, Saturday, October 21, 2006, 10am – 4pm, as Plano’s International Festival takes center stage.  There is no admission fee.

Visitors will be surrounded by the sights, sounds and culinary flavors of the over 40 nations represented at the Festival.  A Parade of Nations, international music, fashion show, ethnic food, children’s activities, cultural diversity displays, multicultural entertainment and a naturalization ceremony will highlight numerous exhibitions, native crafts and arts.

Haggard Park is located in the heart of Downtown Plano, adjacent 15th Street.  Fast and easy access to the Festival is provided through DART Rail, with Plano’s Downtown Station adjacent the Festival grounds.

Admission to the event is free and promises a rich stroll through a veritable United Nations of cultural experiences, native costuming, food and entertainment.
