  1. Low-Cost Sterilization and Vaccination Clinic at the Plano Animal Shelter

    Appointments are required for sterilization services and can be made by calling the number below or visiting TCAP online. Vaccinations are provided from 10-12 and no appointment is necessary.

  2. Clear the Shelters 2017

    We are joining more than 60 shelters across North Texas with the support of NBC 5 and Telemundo 39 in the Clear the Shelters event again. Pet adoption fees are waived during this one day event. All pets will be sterilized, vaccinated and microchipped. We have nearly 300 dogs and cats, along with several rabbits and guinea pigs that want to be part of your family. Feel free to drop by a few days early to meet the pets in a less busy atmosphere to narrow down your favorites. We look forward to sharing this day with your family.

  3. Wildlife Rehabilitation: Squirrel 101

    This class is designed for wildlife rehabilitators or individuals who are interested in learning how to care for orphaned, ill, and injured squirrels. The topics of this course are: The squirrels of Texas, Squirrel natural history and squirrel rehabilitation, Developmental stages, nutrition, and housing, Common problems, causes, and solutions, Release, Health Risks, and Lab - feeding and handling This course will consist of a lecture combined with a lab and class discussions of real live situations. A fee of $25 will cover classroom instruction, the class manual, and any other materials given during class. Payment is due before class starts. Class manual will be sent via email upon payment.
