  1. Crime Prevention Class - Property Protection (Burglary)

    January 10, 2017, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Liberty Recreation Center

In this class you will learn how to make your residence more difficult to get in to for any unwanted intruder. In this class you’ll learn how vulnerable you really are. Whether you’re attempting to keep out burglars, former spouses/boyfriends or girlfriends, stalkers, etc., this class is a must. You will see a video of convicted burglars as they tell you what they look for in a house and what they avoid as they apply their trade. A crime prevention specialist will attend to offer crime prevention tips on how to 'harden' your residence from a would-be burglar. There are many ways your current security can be violated. Learn what to do to improve your odds. The Plano Parks and Recreation Department asks that you register through them prior to attending any of these classes. They can be reached by phone at (972) 769-4234 or at if you wish to register online. (The course barcode for this class is 189189.)
