Outdoor Pools Close after Labor Day

Fall hours for pools begin on Monday, Aug. 23. Outdoor pools will be closed during the week and will be open weekends only August 28-29 and September 4-5. The last day for outdoor pools to be open is Labor Day, Sept. 6. Hours on Labor Day are 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Arbor Day Run is Nov. 6

Calling all walkers, joggers, runners and tree huggers to help us save the planet by participating in the Plano Parks Foundation’s second annual Arbor Day run and celebration at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 6th 2010 at the Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve! Three-Month Membership Plans

Plano Parks and Recreation is now offering three-month membership plans. These plans are great for college students, out of town guests or for those just wanting access to recreation centers and pools during the summer months.
