Plano Independent School District starts classes on
Monday, August 25, 2008
Crossing guards and children will be in the intersections and crossing the street at numerous locations. For more information, please review our School Zone Safety press release. Please assist us in this endeavor to remind and educate the drivers traveling through our city.
The Plano Police Department has begun a new campaign called “Pay Attention for Prevention” to alert drivers to the dangers of “driver inattention.” This campaign includes a series of on-line videos , featuring tips and information to help keep drivers safe.

An examination for the position of Police Recruit was administered on April 26, 2008. This eligibility roster was created as a result of that examination.
